I've been around awhile and this "feels" like an escort agency.
I'll need to hear or see more before i'm comfortable.

If the thread starter can post some professionaly verifiable & credible work I'll move it out of the watchlist.

This is an upcoming agency based in Baltimore and
we're looking for NEWCOMERS to join the agency (non-exclusive for the moment).
I thought by branching out to different sites that we'll get more feedback
No one is trying to run a scam, just trying to start a business.

I'm new in this so I'm sorry there are no "credible" sources I can give you at this moment.

Everything with the company is and will be legit and being worked on right now through legal counseling to ensure the quality of our models and company.

Here are some tips to try to look more legitimate:

1. Use something besides free Yahoo email as your email service

2. Spend the $5 a month to have an actual website domain rather than a free Spruz website

3. Sign with a name other than "Miss Sophisticated," as I'm sure that is not the name you were born with or that you conduct legal business under

4. Provide your agency license number, as is required by law in the State of Maryland

5. Recruit your models through the legal process required in your state, not simply by having a "Create your model profile here" form on your website

6. Make your website's "ABOUT" page actually ABOUT who your company is... and don't use the word "Incorporated" in your name until you actually form a legal corporation

7. As a 'legit business,' provide an actual address and phone number on your "CONTACT" page of the website... Using just a free Yahoo account as the only means for contacting is... potentially shady (and definitely non traceable)

8. Remove the free Google ads from your website - after all, you are a corporation and don't need to look like a free website (though it is a free website)

More than anything, I would suggest that if you are sincere about starting a business, that you obtain some assistance from an experienced agent in the industry. You will need to license and bond ($7000 in Maryland) and then understand the industry some. You might consider interning at an actual real licensed agency and gain some experience that way.
