We are holding a casting call on Saturday October 22nd, 2011 from 11am - 2pm (by appt. only). Seeking actors for three roles in Tyler Perry's film "The Marriage Counselor". See the role breakdowns below. Movie will be filmed in Atlanta, GA (Oct. 26th - Nov. 22) so you must live within the area or are able to commute to Atlanta in order to audition.
STORYLINE: A budding marriage counselor with great potential tries to counsel others regarding their relationships yet she falls into common pitfalls within her own marriage.
ROLE #1: (B.J.) Principal / Male / 3 years old / African American
- B.J. is the son of Brice (lead role). He has one line, "Hi Daddy." The work date for this role is to be determined.
ROLE #2: (Young Judith - Teen) Featured Extra / Female / 15-17 / African American
- We are looking for actresses that look like a young (teenage) Jurnee Smolett (Google photo for reference). This role is currently a featured extra but there is a possibility that this role may become principal. The tentaive work date is Thursday, November 3, 2011.
ROLE #3: (Young Brice - Teen) Featured Extra / Male / 15-17 / African American
- We are looking for actors that look like a young (teenage) Lance Gross (Google photo for reference). This role is currently a featured extra but there is a possibility that this role may become principal. The tentaive work date is Thursday, November 3, 2011.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have acting experience and are SAG-eligible (No exceptions!)
PAY RATE: TBD (daily rate)
AUDITION DATE: October 24th, 25th, and 26th 2011
SHOOT DATE: October 26th and November 22, 2011
