Non-Union. Director: J. King. 'Beneath the Wallpaper' is a ten minute graduate student film. It is a DRAMA about EVA MILLER, an 18-24 year old woman who travels to Los Angeles in search of her younger sister who ran away from home and is somewhere in the city.
While Eva searches for her sister, she struggles to deal with her increasing nightmares which seem to stem from events in her past that she is unable to deal with.
In the end, Eva must not only save her sister but she must also confront her past and the manifestations of her past in her increasing nightmares to ultimately save herself.
This is a great character piece, staged almost as a one-person play, with the majority of the drama coming from Eva's internal struggle. Compensation is credit and copy, although there may be some small pay, depending on certain production issues.

EVA MILLER: Beautiful, from the mid-west. She is smart and intuitive. EVA was an outgoing extrovert, winner of several small, local beauty pageants, honor roll, homecoming queen and a caring, sweet girl. In college, Eva became increasingly withdrawn and ended up dropping out of school without notice, despite being on track to be a successful engineer. This role requires an actress with range who can portray a sweet midwestern girl AND someone who struggles with her demons. The role also requires that the actress be believeable as a popular beauty queen. Please submit sample video clips of past work (if available) and full body photos (if available) along with resumes.
