Silver Immersion is a full service hair, makeup, nail, and photography studio in Catonsville, Maryland. As our company expands, we have a few positions open for hair and makeup artists providing services for weddings and celebrations. Below is some information about the open positions.

*The position would be for a hair stylist and/or makeup artist to do hair and/or makeup styling on site for weddings under the name Silver Immersion.
*You would be an independent contractor, not an employee. You will receive a 1099 at the end of the year.
*You would receive 50% of the services done on site (minus the retainer paid to reserve the services, which is currently $50).
*You can take as many or as few weddings as you'd like. There is no min/max required.
*You are required to obtain and maintain a liability insurance policy to cover yourself on site. These are typically around $500 for the year. If you do not already have insurance, we can refer you to our agent.
*You are required to maintain a professional, neat, and sanitary hair/makeup kit to take on site. You are responsible for all of your own supplies.
*You may use any brand of hair or makeup products that you prefer.
*You are responsible for having reliable transportation to get you to and from all of your weddings as well as pre wedding trials, which are held at our studio in Catonsville, MD.
*A shirt is supplied to you bearing the company name that you are required to wear on all jobs.
*You are paid within two weeks of each completed job.
*Artists/Stylists must be able to work with all hair and skin types/textures/tones.
*You will go through a mock wedding trial as part of your interview process. You will be assessed on points such as but not limited to: technique, sanitation, interaction with client, and timing.
