Just wondering if anyone in the LA area has gotten any background work through this company. They charge $45 to register (which is about the standard amount out here) and the pictures on their website of their ‘talent’ looks like it was taken in someones office. I know extras pictures aren’t the same as headshots, but come on. This is the website: www.abcasting.net Just in case I have the name of the company wrong. I tried looking them up on the BBB site, but I couldn’t find anything. Any info?

It makes sense. However, the BBB only addresses the website issues, so i still have no idea whether or not they're legit as a background casting agency.....

I registered w/ them back in september '10 it cost me $85, they took a goofy as hell pic of me (for their "website"). I "bothered" them w/ a few auditions they advertised. which they took w/ the same tiny pink digital camera. as of 2 months ago I went to thier address and found the place VACANT. no forwarding address or phone #'s When I googled Joseph Guinan at Joe@ABcasting.net (818-339-5061)I only got a recording asking me to invest in something. I also got emails asking (begging) for anyone to invest in buying ABcasting claiming they had 6 movies in the works. It is my opinion that it has become a sham
